OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Institute of Materials Chemistry, research group Theoretical Materials Chemistry has a vacancy for a University Assistant (Prae-Doc), expected to start in March 2022 (30 hours per week, limited until 28.02.2026) ) with the following responsibilities: 

  • Cooperation in research and teaching tasks as well as in examinations
  • Supervision of students
  • Researching and publication activity
  • Deepening of scientific knowledge
  • Writing a dissertation and publications
  • Participation in scientific events
  • Cooperation in organizational and administrative tasks

Tätigkeitsbezogene Vordienstzeiten können angerechnet werden.

    Chemistry: Master Degree or equivalent

  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    ENGLISH: Excellent
    GERMAN: Excellent

Skills/Qualifications

  • Abschluss eines fachlich passenden Master- oder Diplomstudiums
  • Kenntnisse wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens
  • Vertiefende Kenntnisse im Fachgebiet Theoretische Material Chemie und Erfahrung mit objectorientierten Programmiersprachen wie Python sind wünschenswert, aber nicht Voraussetzung
  • Ausgezeichnete Englischkenntnisse
  • Interesse an der Forschung im Fachgebiet und an der Arbeit mit Studierenden
  • Teamfähigkeit, Problemlösungskompetenz sowie Innovationsfähigkeit
