Offer Description

Participation in research, teaching and administration: - (co-)publication of academic articles, preparation of academic presentations - signing of a doctoral thesis agreement within 12 to 18 months expected - participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement - supervision of students - participation in the organization of meetings, conferences, symposiums - participation in departmental, teaching and research administration

- Master degree in China studies or a related discipline with a focus on contemporary China
- educational background in China studies or a related discipline with a focus on contemporary China
- Methodological competence social sciences
- Didactic competence: e-learning
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English
- IT user skills: MS Office
- Ability to work in a team
Desirable qualifications are
- Knowledge of university organization and administrative
- Experience abroad (pref. PR China or Taiwan)
- Basic experience in research methods and academic writing
- basic familiarity with computer programming
