University Assistant - Postdoc (40 hours/week), Department of Sociology from 03/01/2023 to 02/28/2029. Main tasks: independent research in the field of social-ecological transformation; participation in research projects and in the acquisition of third-party funds of the working group of rural sociology; independent teaching in the bachelor's degree in sociology with a focus on rural sociology; participation in academic self-administration and in organizational and administrative tasks of the working group; societal knowledge transfer (Third Mission). Required qualifications: PhD in sociology or relevant field; high-quality publications appropriate to the academic age and publication standards in the field; relevant research experience; proof of in-depth methodological knowledge in empirical social research; experience with international academic mobility; ability to connect to the relevant research groups at the University of Innsbruck (Working Group of rural sociology, Mountain Agriculture Research Unit; Research Focus Mountain Regions); teaching experience; experience in education for sustainable development desirable; experience in raising third-party funds desired; experience in societal knowledge transfer desired; very good knowledge of English and German; Team, communication and organizational skills.
