Advertisement for a Postdoc Position at the University of Innsbruck
I am looking to fill a Postdoc position in the Numerical Analysis and Scientific computing group (https://www.uibk.ac.at/mathematik/na/ ) at the University of Innsbruck. The successful applicant will be employed for a duration of three years with the possibility to extend the contract for another three years (the salary is 4352 EUR brutto 14 times a year). He/she is expected to conduct research in the field of numerics of partial differential equations, complexity reduction, and scientific computing. In particular, I am looking for an applicant willing to work closely with the group on dynamical low-rank approximation and kinetic equations. Good programming skills are necessary for the position and skills in C++ and high-performance computing technologies (such as OpenMP, MPI, CUDA, ...) are welcome.
