University Assistant (postdoc)

Postdoctoral position (40 hours/week)
University of Innsbruck, Department of Public Finance
Starting on 01.09.2022 or upon agreement, for 6 years.

Main tasks: Publications, collaboration in research projects and high-quality own research in the field of Environmental Economics, International Economics, Empirical Economics; research collaboration at the Faculty and at the research area EPoS Economics, Politics & Society, research-led teaching in the Department; participation in workshops and conferences; administrative tasks

Qualifications: PhD in Economics or a related field; very good command of English; experience in statistical data analysis and in the use of statistical software (e.g. Stata, R, Python); knowledge of input-output analysis and computable general equilibrium (CGE) modeling is desirable; high interest in teamwork and collaborative research; proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
