Job profile:

In this position you will carry out high level research and specialise in molecular inorganic chemistry. You will hold your own lectures, tutor students and participate in administration. Required qualifications: Completed PhD studies in inorganic or organic chemistry with a focus on molecular chemistry; In addition, sound expertise in main group chemistry (especially phosphorus chemistry) and homogeneous catalysis is expected; Experience in handling air-sensitive substances; Expertise in single crystal structure analysis, hetero nuclear NMR, UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy; Expertise in cyclic voltammetry, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry is desired; Relevant publications in internationally recognized journals and experience in supervising students lab work in the field of inorganic chemistry are required; Very good English language skills are required, German language skills are an advantage; Ability to work in a team and willingness to communicate in an interdisciplinary environment.
