University Assistant (post doc)

The Department of Geography and Regional Research is part of the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy. The department offers scientific degrees in the bachelor program, four master programs, in the teacher education program (bachelor and master), a PhD program as well as in the faculty-arching master program in “Environmental Sciences”. The position is assigned to the working group Physical Geography, which has a sound reputation in the research domains of landslides, “human impact” on geosystems and spatial modeling of geomorphic processes as well as in applied research in the areas global environmental change, sustainability, natural hazards and risks, vulnerability, multi-hazards and risks and early warning systems

- Participation in research, teaching and administration

- Spatio-temporal modelling and observation of earth surface processes
- Analysis of human impact on the earth surface

- Contributions to applications of SDG’s
- Holding classes as defined by the collective agreement
- Co-designing the social media presence
