University Assistant (post doc)

A position as a University Assistant (post doc) with a research speciality in quantitative structural geology will be filled from January 1, 2023, in the Department of Geology, within the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy (University of Vienna). We are seeking a candidate with experience in the area of rock deformation processes in both the brittle and ductile crust with special focus on microtectonics. Knowledge of high-resolution analytical methods, such as scanning electron microscopy and electron microprobe analysis, is an advantage but is not required.
