In the Department of Economic Sociology at the Faculty of Economics, Business and Statistics a position of a Research Associate (post doc) will be filled by September 1st, 2022. The position is limited to a four-year period. The position holder is expected to develop an own research program in organizational sociology including the acquisition of external funds and to contribute to ongoing projects in the department. Economic sociology is an area in sociology which addresses economic phenomena in societal context.
Your tasks:
• Active participation in research, teaching, and administration.
• Development of an own research profile
• Participation in research projects and scientific studies
• National and international publications and presentations
• Project applications and acquisition of external funds
• Preparation / finalization of a habilitation
• Autonomous teaching of courses according to the collective agreement
• Supervision of students
• Participation in measures of evaluation and quality assurance Your tasks:
