The tenure track professor of Cell Biology of Plants will support research and teaching in the field of plant physiology. The tenure track professorship should concentrate on basic research, but also pursue research with practical relevance. The subject focus of the future post holder should be in a promising experimental field of cell biology of plants utilising existing electron microscopic techniques (TEM/SEM), with a potential reference to environmental factors. Support of the Field of Excellence Climate Change Graz is preferred. The professional qualification requires a doctorate or a PhD in the relevant field, as well as several years of experience as a post-doc or in a comparable position and outstanding research in plant cell biology. Didactic aptitude, very good knowledge of English, and experience with relevant English publications are expected. We also expect gender mainstreaming skills.
