The following position is available to strengthen our team of the Department for Legal Studies and International Relations at the Faculty of Business and Globalisation:

Teaching and Research Associate (m/f/d)

40 hrs./week

Your tasks

  • Participation in university teaching as well as in scientific research and publication projects of the department
  • Independent scientific research activities as well as teaching
  • Academic supervision, organization/coordination, promotion, and planning of university study programs
  • Supervision of students in the preparation of scientific papers
  • Organization of and participation in scientific congresses

Your profile

We require evidence of the following qualifications for the application:

  • Completed university degree (Master/Diploma) in the field of Law
  • Excellent German (at least C1) and very good English skills (at least B2)
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • High degree of independence and resilience
  • Teamwork, reliability, and communication skills…

In addition, the following criteria are desirable:

  • Ongoing dissertation project
  • Initial international (study or work) experiences
  • Experience in university teaching or legal practice

Your perspective

  • full time position (40 hours/week) initially limited to 2 years (possible extension up to a maximum of 6 years in total) with a minimum salary of EUR 3,578.80 gross per month on a full-time basis (classification according to § 49 VwGr. B1, Kollektivvertrag für Universitäten (collective agreement for universities) collective agreement of universities)
