Your Responsibilities
  • Independent teaching and further development of Bachelor's and Master's courses in the Electrical Engineering, Information and Computer Engineering, Digital Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Audio Engineering curricula
  • Supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses and seminar projects
  • Independent organisation and further development of the content of continuing education courses
  • Research and development of new numerical methods for the efficient solution of coupled field problems and implementation in the open source software openCFS
  • Independent scientific research
  • Acquisition and realisation of third-party funded projects
  • Preparation of scientific publications including presentations
  • Participation in the supervision of dissertations
  • Establishing and maintaining a network of international research partners
  • Participation in the organisation of scientific events
  • Procurement, construction and operation of laboratory facilities and other infrastructures for research and teaching
  • Participation in the organisation of scientific events
  • Participation in university self-administration

Your Profile
Admission Requirements
  • Relevant PhD in Electrical Engineering or comparative
  • At least three years professional experience in a research-related environment
  • Experience in the development of scientific software
  • Knowledge of finite elements for solving partial differential equations
  • Very good English language skills

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 66,532.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
