Senior Scientist 100 % with doctorate (40 hours/week), Department of Contemporary History from 01.10.2022 until 30.09.2026. Main tasks: Independent research; continuous engagement with the history of science and the history of the university of Innsbruck; participation in the Research Centre Medical Humanities; independent teaching; participation in the application for third-party funding and project management; participation in academic organization and administration. Required qualifications: Completed octorate (PhD) in the historical sciences from the field of contemporary history/history of the 20th century; specialisation in the field of history of science, medicine or university history; previous knowledge of Innsbruck university history is desirable; experience in working with archival sources, in particular also with sensitive data from the field of health and welfare; publication and lecture activity; ability to work in a team and cooperative working manner.
