Senior Lecturer (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a 25-hour/week, one-year position (can be extended for an additional three years) at the Institute of Analytical and General Chemistry, Department of General Chemistry

Job Duties:

  • Hold university-level courses in the field of General Chemistry (in both English and German)
  • Independently supervise and organize exercises and lab courses in the field of General Chemistry
  • Assist in designing experiments, preparing tutorial readers for lab courses, and creating and elaborating on practical exercises in the field of General Chemistry
  • Hold university-level courses in hybrid and remote learning formats as well and collaborate to create online educational material

Your Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must hold a Diploma or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or an academic degree comparable in scope and content
  • Strong proficiency in German and English (German level C1, English level B2)
  • Experience in academic education (if possible, in the field of General Chemistry)
  • Experience in independently teaching university-level courses
