Professor of Entrepreneurship – New Business Venturing and Innovative Regions

to begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. A faculty performance review will be conducted after a 5-year period.

The successful candidate will be expected to represent and further develop the academic area of Entrepreneurship - New Business Venturing and Innovative Regions in teaching and research. In addition to the core area of entrepreneurship, research conducted by the selected applicant should focus strongly on the interface of the three general university research priorities at the Johannes Kepler University Linz: Digital Transformation, Sustainable Development as well as Transformation in Finance and Financial Institutions. By applying Entrepreneurship Education, the successful candidate will support students’, faculty members’, and researchers’ awareness of entrepreneurship. The candidate will set regional innovation impulses due to the continuation of the initiative "Entrepreneurial JKU" as well as the chair's strong network with the business and start-up landscape.

Applicants for the position must have a venia docendi (habilitation degree) or comparable, internationally recognized academic qualifications in the academic subject area of Business Administration. See: http://www.jku.at/professuren for a detailed description of the job profile.

An annual gross salary above the minimum amount of € 71,822.80 as stated in the collective agreement will be offered.
