Professor of Digital Humanities

Your duties:

- You will be the responsible for Digital Humanities at the University of Graz (Georg Vogeler) in the summer semester 2022 (March-August, teaching time March-June). The professorship covers the entire spectrum of digital humanities with a special focus on digital editions, semantic web and the application of digital methods to medieval topics.

- You will teach two courses (4 hours per week). Another two courses (4 hours per week) will be financed through a supplementary teaching assignment.

- You are willing to supervise students' final papers and hold exams.

Your profile:

- You have study or research experience in a humanities subject, preferably related to history or literature.

- You have gained professional experience at a university in the field of "Digital Humanities". You have taught independently.

- You have generated data records for digital humanities applications and / or evaluated corresponding data records using code you wrote yourself.

- You have taken on functions in the DH community that give you a broad knowledge of the work in the subject.
