The tasks can be summarized as follows: responsible participation in statistical consulting and data analysis in projects of the unit of public veterinary and epidemiology; Independent implementation of scientific projects with a focus on the influence of various factors (e.g. climate, environment, humans) on the occurrence and spread of infectious agents in livestock; independent teaching activity in statistics and epidemiology; Writing of publications and participation in the acquisition of third-party funds; Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students; Participation in science, teaching and administration

University degree in veterinary medicine or another discipline of natural sciences; Postgraduate doctorate/PhD in the subject area; Sound knowledge and comprehensive practical experience in statistical analysis and modeling with R as well as in data management in the above-mentioned subject area; Publication activity as first author; Experience with (inter)national research collaborations; practical experience in acquiring third-party funds; Teaching experience and proven didactic qualification; Willingness to participate in the transfer of knowledge in line with Vetmeduni's social responsibility; Knowledge of German level C1; Knowledge of English level B2
