Offer Description

Independent scientific research and teaching (4 weekly semester hours), scientific support in research and teaching activities as well as participation in administrative tasks at the Department of Geoinformatics. We are looking for a person (m/f/*) with proven expertise in the field of Geographic Information Science and in-depth knowledge in one of the following areas: Spatial Data Science, Geospatial Artificial Intelligence, GeoKnowledge Graphs, Spatial Linked Data. Participation in research projects of the department, the development of research proposals and the active participation in funded research projects are expected. Furthermore, active participation in teaching and administrative tasks of the department.

- PhD in Geoinformatics, GIScience, computer science or related disciplines

- Experience in working scientifically and active publication activity in scientific journals and conferences

- Experience in teaching of university courses

- Strong interest in research activities and working with students

- Ability to work in a team and problem-solving skills
