1 position for a fully employed Senior Scientist at the Chair of Waste Processing Technology and Waste Management in the Department of Environmental and Energy Process Engineering as soon as possible in a 3-year fixed-term employment contract. Salary grade B1 according to the Uni-KV, monthly minimum salary excl. Szlg.: € 3.945,90 for 40 hours per week (14 x per year).

Core tasks: Head of the working group "Waste Management and Future Waste". Research and teaching on waste management, waste management logistics, waste management systems, environmental assessment and recyclability using interdisciplinary and systemic methods. Establishment and supervision of national and international research projects.

Requirements: Completed technical, natural or economic science studies with doctorate. Experience in the fields of waste management and/or environmental engineering. Experience in setting up and managing research projects.

Desired additional qualifications: Activity in the economy an advantage. Experience in establishing national and international collaborations and projects. Experience in interdisciplinary research with systemic approaches. Ability to work in a team, sociability, self-motivation and reliability.
