Offer Description

One vacant position for a full-time university assistant (m/f/d) at the Chair of Mining Engineering and Mineral Economics, in the Department Mineral Resources Engineering. Start from September 2024 in an employment contract limited to four year. Salary Group B1 according to the Uni-KV, monthly minimum salary excl. Szlg.: 
€ 3.578,80 for 40 hours per week (14 x per year), actual classification is according to previous relevant experience.

Climate friendly transformation in transport technology
Aim is lecturing and scientific research (as result in a PhD thesis) to raise the excellence in the raw materials life cycle and in mechanical engineering of the related machinery by applying tools of digitalisation, Discrete Element Methods and robotics. The focus is on sustainibility of the use of resources, environmental protection and safety.By improving the processes in transport of H-DRI a contribution to avoid the emission of climate warming gases will be given.

Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering or related studies with a Master degree

Desirable additional qualifications:
Discrete Element Methods (DEM)
3D CAD Design
Understanding in applying measurement systems
