One vacant position for a full-time University Assistant (m/f/d) in the Department Product Engineering, at the Chair of Metal Forming, starting as soon as possible in a fixed-term to 4 years of employment.

Salary Group B1 according to the Uni-KV, monthly minimum salary excl. Szlg.: € 3.058,60 for 40 hours per week (14 x per year), actual classification is according to previous relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

Supervising of scientific Bachelor and Master Theses in the field of metal additive manufacturing and finite element simulation

Acquisition, application, execution and management of research and industrial support projects

Support in teaching of students during bachelor and master courses as well as lecturing in special educational programs

Publishing and presentation of research results in scientific literature and conferences

Requirements:

Master with background material science

Proactivity, creativity, reliability, well organized, analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to work in teams

Good knowledge of the German language as well as good English skills

Knowledge regarding finite element simulation, materials modeling and metal additive manufacturing
