We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 45,882.20 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.

Skills/Qualifications
  • Relevant university degree (teaching degree in Physical Education or comparable degree)
  • Qualification for holding classes in subject teaching methodology, especially in the area of practical sports courses and movement pedagogical basics, demonstrated, for example, by relevant experience in teacher training (university or non-university)
  • Very good specialist knowledge in the field of subject teaching methodology of physical education as well as sport and human movement science
  • Teaching experience in schools in the field of physical education (expected)
  • Experience in teaching at university level (preferred)
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
  • Very good IT skills and willingness in using digital tools in the field of virtual teaching
  • Social competence and enjoyment of working with students
  • Independent and autonomous working style
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills

Additional Information
Eligibility criteria
  • Independent teaching of courses and conducting of examinations amounting to 6 weekly semester hours in the field of subject teaching methodology and Physical Education (with a focus on movement, pedagogical basics and practical sports courses)
  • Participation in the conception and implementation of new academic teaching methods and courses
  • Supervision of students in the context of courses and final theses
  • Participation in existing research projects in the area of subject teaching methodology and Physical Education
  • Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures in the context of research and teaching at the Institute
  • Independent supervision of or collaboration in the supervision of theses on bachelor and master level
