Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a 20-hour/week, four-year position at the Institute of Organic Chemistry

Job Duties:

  • Participate in research in asymmetric organic syntheses and development of stereoselective organocatalytic synthesis methods
  • Laboratory and seminar supervision of students of the Bachelor and Master Curricula: Chemistry and Chemical Technology, Biological Chemistry, Fundamentals of Natural Sciences for Technology, Polymer Chemistry, Management in Chemical Technologies and Molecular Biosciences

Your Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in the area of chemistry
  • Strong command of German and English (level B2)
  • Experience in asymmetric organic synthesis and catalysis, i.e. asymmetric organocatalysis
  • Additional qualifications in the following areas: Analytical investigations of chiral organic compounds, Basic principles of NMR spectroscopy
