Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree) for a 20-hour/week, four-year position at the Institute of Chemical Technology of Inorganic Materials

Job Duties:

  • The focus of the research is on the combinatorial development of new materials for applications in the field of medical engineering; in cooperation with other team members, in addition to the combinatorial production and physical characterisation of suitable materials libraries, a detailed electrochemical investigation by means of scanning electrochemical droplet cell microscopy is to be carried out.
  • Co-supervise Master’s and Bachelor’s thesis
  • Opportunity to complete a dissertation is given and desired

Your Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in chemistry
  • Relevant practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of electrochemistry
  • Profound knowledge of electronical impedance spectroscopy is mandatory
  • Further theoretical and practical knowledge in suitable methods for material characterisation are desirable
  • Strong command of German and English both spoken and written (German level C2, English level C1)
  • Motivated and reliable personality
