Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master's degree) for a
Full-time, four-year position at the Institute of Business Analytics and Technology Transformation

Job Duties:

• Conduct original research within the research areas of the institute and publish the respective findings in high-ranking journals
• Presentation of research results at international conferences
• Teaching of at least one course per semester and willingness to co-supervise master and bachelor theses
• Participation in administrative activities of the institute
• Collaboration in the application and implementation of research projects of the institute

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a completed diploma or master's degree in social and economic sciences with quantitative orientation, mathematics, (business) informatics, statistics, operations research or equivalent qualification
• Experience in modeling and/or implementing algorithms to solve optimization problems (mixed integer programming)
• High motivation and demonstrated interest in issues related to business analytics
• High level of initiative and ability to work in a team
• Programming skills (preferably C/C++/Python/Julia)
• Very good written and spoken English (level C1)
• Very good spoken and written knowledge of German (Level B2)

• On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,578.80 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
