Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master's degree) for a Full-time, maternity leave replacement at the Department of Pathophysiologie

Job Duties:
- Contribution in the establishment and further development of the Department of Pathophysiology
- Preparation and delivery of teaching in the field of Pathophysiology (lectures, practical exercises, etc.).
- Culture and analysis of cells and tissues
- Conducting experiments in the field of biochemistry and bioanalytics
- Independent planning and execution of experiments, analysis and presentation of data, preparation of papers, as well as communication and coordination with collaborative partners of the Division of Pathophysiology
Your Qualifications:
- The successful candidate must hold a diploma in medicine, biology or a related discipline
- Motivation and interest in working in medical research, as well as a high degree of flexibility and independence
- Experience with cell and tissue culture and analysis
- A broad spectrum of methods in cell and molecular biology is desired
- Experience with/interest in establishing new cell culture models
- Interest in the development of alternative methods to animal testing
- Experience with/interest in bioinformatics, data management, and statistics
- Very good knowledge of German and English (German level C1, English level B2)

- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 3,578.80 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
