Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master's degree) for a Full-time, maternity leave replacement at the Department of Pathophysiologie

Job Duties:

• Contribution in the establishment and further development of the Department of Pathophysiology
• Preparation and delivery of teaching in the field of Pathophysiology (lectures, practical exercises, etc.).
• Culture and analysis of cells and tissues
• Conducting experiments in the field of biochemistry and bioanalytics
• Independent planning and execution of experiments, analysis and presentation of data, preparation of papers, as well as communication and coordination with collaborative partners of the Division of Pathophysiology

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a diploma in medicine, biology or a related discipline
• Motivation and interest in working in medical research, as well as a high degree of flexibility and independence
• Experience with cell and tissue culture and analysis
• A broad spectrum of methods in cell and molecular biology is desired
• Experience with/interest in establishing new cell culture models
• Interest in the development of alternative methods to animal testing
• Experience with/interest in bioinformatics, data management, and statistics
• Very good knowledge of German and English (German level C1, English level B2)
