Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master’ s degree) for a full‑time position (maternity leave replacement) at the Institute of Computational Perception

Job Duties:

  • Independently teach university-level classes and supervise students, specifically as part of courses in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • Independently conduct collaborative research in the fields of computational (audio) perception and Music Information Research (MIR)
  • Publish in the corresponding scientific media
  • Provide support to manage the institute’s general administration activities

Your Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in computer science or related fields
  • Extensive expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, documented by having taken the corresponding university courses
  • Theoretical and applied practice research experience in the fields of deep learning for acoustic perception, Music Information Research (MIR)
  • Experience with software frameworks to support deep neural networks and deep learning
  • Interest in education and teaching
  • Proficiency in German and English (both oral and written, level C1)

  • On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 2,971.50 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
