Graduate Teaching Assistant (must hold a Diploma/Master's degree) for a full‑time (or two 20-hour/week), two-year position(s) (can be extended) at the Linz School of Education, Department of STEM Education

Job Duties:

  • Contribute to the Center of Open Digital Education (CODE)
  • Conduct research and develop educational resources in the field of mathematics education and/or

STEM education

  • Earn a doctorate degree (complete a dissertation for Ph.D. in Education)
  • Independently teach university-level classes in Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in support of Secondary Teacher Education
  • Provide support to manage the organizational unit’s general organisation and administration activities (e.g. supervise students, evaluate measures, organize conferences and workshops)

Your Qualifications:

  • The successful candidate must hold a Diploma/Master’s degree in mathematics education or another STEM field
  • Possess experience in the field of using technology in the classroom
  • Strong command of German and English (level C1)
  • Strong social skill set and personal commitment
