As part of the PromoLi project and funded by the Austrian Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care & Consumer Protection, the JKU Linz is currently seeking to fill a PraeDoc project employee position, independent of a specific institute/department. The PromoLi project is a career advancement program for young scientists from the group of people with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses, aiming to support them and ensure scientific excellence.

 

The employment as a University Assistant pre-doc according to the collective agreement §49 of the salary group B1 for university employees) is a fixed term contract for a duration of four years with the option of an additional year. The start date of the employment will be determined by agreement.

 

The advertised position within the project PromoLi project offers the opportunity to focus on the dissertation project, aiming to successfully complete it by the end of the employment period. The position entails the following tasks to integrate into the research field and prepare for teaching and research activities:

 

Job Duties:

  • Participation in research, teaching, and administrative tasks at the institute
  • Participation in examinations and evaluation measures
  • Student supervision
  • Independent research activities with the aim of deepening one's own professional and scientific knowledge and completing a dissertation

Your Qualifications:

  • Successful candidates must hold a diploma / masters degree. All disciplines belonging to the spectrum of JKU are eligible.
