Full-time 4 years limited Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Electrical Engineering- RefID 2106WPH

One vacant position for full-time Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Electrical Engineering in the beginning the 01th October on a temporary employment contract lasting 4 years.

Requisites:

• University degree in Energy Engineering (focus on Electrical Energy) at a technical university or university degree in Electrical Engineering (focus on electric power engineering) at a technical university or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Physics, respectively, with focus in Electrical Engineering and Energy Engineering.
• Profound mathematical knowledge.
• Willingness and ability to establish and implement high-quality education in the field of electrical engineering, in particular basics, electrical energy engineering and electronics, profound lecture ability in German in speaking and writing, for some courses also in English.
• Team work willingness and ability.
• Willingness and ability for scientific work in research including publication activities also in English language, offering completion of a PhD thesis.

Desirable additional qualification:

Practical work experience, working abroad experience, research experience.

Desirable additional skills:

Profound knowledge in as many as possible of the following areas:

Focus:

• Electrical energy enginering with focus on electrical drives

• Signal electronics and power electronics, electrical measurement engineering including digital data acquisition

• Application oriented electrochemical energy storage, especially lithium-ion batteries

Supplements:

• Semiconductors

• Technical closed-loop control, renewable electrical energy, signal processors incl. programming

• Circuit development, simulation, realization, and commissioning of signal electronics and power electronics
