The financial support from my scholarship allows me to work less, focus more on my studies, and contribute through the Access Monash mentoring program. It has also connected me with a scholarship donor who worked in my field, and is now a great mentor to me as I work out where I want to end up and how to navigate the challenges of studying an Engineering degree.

Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:

• An Indigenous Australian

You must meet the following criteria:

• Commencing or current student, enrolled in or intending to enrol in an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at a Monash campus in Australia.
• From one or more of Monash University's defined educational disadvantage categories .

**To be eligible you must provide a Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Heritage certificate or a certified Statutory Declaration form to the William Cooper Institute. This can be emailed to wci-ss@monash.edu . If you have any queries please contact the William Cooper Institute on 9902 4972.

Benefits

• $6000 per annum (48 credit points of study) for the duration of your degree.

• One scholarship available at any one time.

Selection criteria

• Awarded based on need.
• Preference to be given to students studying the Bachelor of Architectural Design.

To retain this scholarship:

• You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.
