About the Role 
Our vision for Vocational Education (VE) is to be the best provider of vocational education in Australia, known for our industry and commJoin our team at Swinburne University as a Casual Teacher for Early Childhood and Education Programs, where you'll implement industry-leading practices and utilize cutting-edge learning technologies and pedagogies across vocational education and early childhood programs. Collaborating within a dedicated team of education experts, you'll oversee program delivery, assessment, and evaluation to maintain the excellence of our education and training offerings. This role requires you to customise and adapt our programs to meet our learners and clients’ needs that vary from certificate level through to diploma and associate degree levels. About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Experience teaching and/or providing Education Support within a primary or secondary school setting. 
  • Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning modes which respond to a diverse range of student and client needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and promote an inclusive, customised and safe learning environment and provide support and advice to a diverse range of students and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in continuous improvement, audit processes and the maintenance of high-quality training and assessment materials.

Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
OR
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
OR 
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the following units:
- TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor,
OR
- TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
AND 
- TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor, OR
- TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools OR
- TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools
OR

Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
