We are looking to add another energetic and experienced Travel Administrator to our successful Travel Team, to assist in the coordination of domestic and international travel activities for all staff, students and visitors travelling on behalf of the University.

You will be responsible for 

  • The coordination all approved domestic and international travel arrangements for staff, students and visitors within the University 
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and the University’s travel guidelines and procedures 
  • Providing advice to key stakeholders in relation to the University’s travel guidelines, and procedures  
  • Resolving issues that arise for travelling staff, students and visitors 
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to effectively coordinate the administration processes associated with travel 
  • Contributing to an ongoing team culture of customer service, and to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives pertaining to travel activity across the University 

To be successful you will have 

  • Strong experience and skills working to coordinate complex domestic and international travel and itineraries  
  • High level communication skills including the preparation of written materials 
  • Experience in the delivery of quality customer service to maintain loyal clientele 
  • High level organisation and time management skills  
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative in managing multiple priorities, often with competing deadlines 
  • Experience in interpreting and applying policy and procedures within a complex organisation

The Finance Unit is the central business unit which provides financial services to the University and is part of the Resources Portfolio led by the Chief Operating Officer. The Unit is committed to implementing effective financial and commercial practices to support the University’s needs. Achieving this will require the transformation of the finance function to be business partners to support the University to thrive in a competitive and rapidly evolving global environment. The Travel Team is an essential part of this busy unit, ensuring that staff, students and visitors are provided with essential services to support the growth of the University, and their own personal development.
