  • Base salary range: $87,460 – $92,430 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation

About the team

Campus Management is responsible for planning, developing and managing the University’s campus and property portfolio to support teaching, research and campus life. Campus Management delivers a comprehensive range of University-wide services.

About the opportunity

As the appointee you will under limited supervision, provide senior administrative support in the development, publication and maintenance of the University academic class timetable. As the appointee you will administer the University timetabling system and contribute to the continuous improvement of the student experience. You will also be responsible for ensuring the University achieves coordinated and consistent timetabling practices that support quality teaching and learning and the optimisation of space utilisation, teaching resources and facilities. You will work collaboratively with University stakeholders to deliver a timetable that responds to academic programme requirements and which, as far as practically possible, accommodates student and staff requests for adjustments advanced on equity grounds.

 To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in the use of Syllabus Plus timetabling application or a similar system
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and procedures, providing clear and consistent advice to clients.
  • Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated planning skills and the ability to analyse complex information and produce solutions
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with ability to determine requirements, analyse and evaluate, and formulate responses
  • Knowledge of the higher education sector
