FIXED TERM, PART-TIME (30 HOURS PER WEEK) UNTIL 31 DEC 2023 WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

Overview

The ECU Survey Research Centre, located on ECU’s Joondalup Campus, conducts high quality health survey research for the School of Medical and Health Sciences, other areas within the University, government departments and other health-related organisations and universities. Our Centre has state-of-the-art technology to conduct outbound telephone surveys. This role is expected to commence as soon as possible after interviews in January 2023.

We are seeking to appoint a fixed-term Telephone Room Supervisor who possesses the following criteria:

1.    Experience in supervising a team of approximately 25 staff in an outbound telephone call centre.
2.    Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, mentor and build a team in order to meet project KPIs.
3.    Great people and communication skills with an excellent phone manner, and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service.
4.    A strong work ethic, good problem-solving skills, excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task which may include telephone interviewing if required.
5.    Knowledge of ISO 20252 Market, Opinion and Social Research Standards is highly regarded.
6.    Competent in the use of Microsoft programs including Word, Outlook and Excel.
7.    Attention to detail in project management is very important.
8.    Available to work across various shifts, 4 days per week at 7.5hrs per weekday between 9am and 6pm.

The successful candidate may have the opportunity to specialise in projects as required.

*Training will include telephone interviewing to gain an understanding and overview of the projects undertaken at The Survey Research Centre.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are in line with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence. In addition, you will be required to attain a Police Clearance and Working with children check.

This fixed term position attracts remuneration of $61,116 - $67,865pa University superannuation contribution of 17%
