The Position
The Research School of Biology (RSB) carries out research and teaching in a wide range of biological and biomedical sciences, and is housed in multiple buildings on the main Acton campus. The School is seeking an experienced technician to support the Ecology & Evolution Division within RSB. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of animal care facilities and provision of daily husbandry, will assist in the preparation of risk assessments and safe work procedures, and provide additional technical support as required.

The Person
We are looking for a qualified Technical Officer with prior experience in the management of animal care facilities and day-to-day husbandry, and experience or willingness to assist in the preparation of risk assessments and safe work procedures. Demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise across the school at all levels, and to manage and maintain records. Proactive with abundant initiative and genuine willingness to learn new skills.
