Classification: ANU Officer 6 (Technical)
Salary package: $89,134 - $93,211 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Continuing (contingent funded) appointment for up to 4 years, Full time ( part-time, job share or a gradual increase in hours will be considered)

The Position
This is a key role for an experienced research technician to manage the Australian Mountain Research Facility operated from the Research School of Biology. The successful candidate will maintain a network of environmental and ecological monitoring sites across four jurisdictions. This role is integral to delivery of an exciting national environmental research infrastructure project and the successful applicant will work closely with a broad network of mountain researchers and stakeholders.

The Person
We are looking for a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to quickly develop productive, professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly developed organisational skills and effective self-management are key. We are looking for someone with a Bachelors Degree in Science and relevant experience in field ecology and operation of micrometeorological equipment. A love of working outdoors is a must.
