  • Duration: 12-month contract
  • Remuneration: Level 7 $106,351 - $115,103 (depending on experience) + 17% super + leave loading

Why Your Role Matters
The HR Digital Transformation Consultant role uses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to define business needs, engage stakeholders and configure solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Adobe Sign and Office365 tools and components.

This role collaborates with stakeholders and supports the solution lifecycle from gathering requirements to implementation and ongoing support. This role configures and builds solutions leveraging tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and Office 365, to streamline processes for UNSW staff, managers, and HR teams.

The role of HR Digital Transformation Consultant reports to the Manager, HR Digital Transformation and has no direct reports.

Who You Are:

You are a problem-solver with a passion for process improvement. You often think to yourself ‘there has to be a better way’ and you generally have a few ideas in mind.

Your expertise lies in the Microsoft Power Platform and Office365 suite. You have experience with agile ways of working and application lifecycle management, with a proven ability to configure solutions in collaboration with both business and technical teams.

Beyond your technical skill, you have a proactive approach and the ability to empathise with and understand your stakeholder’s needs. You translate those needs into technical requirements and work collaboratively to design sustainable solutions that empower everyone at UNSW – staff, managers, and HR teams alike.

Your Background:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification with experience and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • Proven experience in creating digital solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and Office365.
  • Exposure or experience in agile ways of working.
  • Ability to problem solve while thinking of sustainable solutions that can be repurposed or reused.
  • Digital skills in the Microsoft Power Platform and Office 365 suite, with the ability to advise on best practice use of applications.
  • Analytical and planning skills, with an ability to develop and maintain work plans and develop reporting and metrics to understand program effectiveness.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across multi-function teams.
