  • Commencement Salary: $57,610 per annum (up to 17% superannuation)

The Technical Assistant: Resources and Infrastructure provides a range of administrative tasks in addition to providing assistance for workshop and laboratory activities to support the teaching and research activities in UniSA STEM.

  • Maintain laboratory and field related equipment, supplies and consumables
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and review of administrative processes to promote an ongoing team culture of customer service and continuous improvement
  • Set up of laboratory and practical classes and demonstrations to facilitate teaching and learning
  • Ensure laboratory procedures and processes are adhered to and work environments are maintained to meet legislative requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Successful completion of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or equivalent
  • Demonstrated previous experience in an administrative position involving the provision of quality customer service to key stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, including experience in prioritising and meeting deadlines
  • Organisational and time management skills to plan and prioritise tasks
  • Ability work independently and as part of a team
