  • Commencement Salary: $82,077 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader: Academic Services within UniSA Creative. You will be responsible for managing academic administrative activities and processes that support development and delivery of the programs and courses within UniSA Creative.

You will be a key reference point for academic administration, acting as a conduit between UniSA Creative and the central units. In this role you will be a key contact for engagement activities within the unit and support research, teaching and learning activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct and consistent interpretation and application of the University’s academic administration policies and procedures within the Academic Unit.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, mentoring, performance management and professional development to the team
  • Manage the administrative activities undertaken by the team and contribute to UniSA Creative’s strategic planning and review processes
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders to complete appropriate research, analysis and documentation
  • Oversee UniSA Creative’s engagement activities
  • Manage the Unit’s Program Development activities relating to courses and Programs, providing high level advice and support to Program Directors and key stakeholders
  • Support the breadth of research administration activities within UniSA Creative and research centres/concentrations

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Strong transformational leadership capabilities, demonstrated by experience in leading and managing a team
  • Previous experience working in a senior administrative position in a complex service environment
  • High level verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent writing skills appropriate to prepare briefings and/or reports
  • Highly developed research and analytical skills and experience in the interpretation and application of policies and procedures
