About the Role 

Join Swinburne University of Technology (Vocational Education) as a Teaching and Learning Officer and be part of an innovative and dynamic team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals who are experienced, self-motivated, and eager to make a difference in the field of education. 

As a Teaching and Learning Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with University and Regulatory processes, streamlining operations, and facilitating the seamless transfer of information across various departments within the University. Working under the guidance of the Coordinator, Teaching and Learning Support, you will have the chance to support the operational activities of Vocational Education and Training (VET) while also providing executive support to Department Managers and Senior Educators.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in the provision of high quality administrative and support services within a demanding, client focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate with multiple networks and channels across the university to ensure streamline access to information and resources.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills including the ability to plan, prioritise multiple tasks, work under pressure and display attention to detail while following tasks through to completion.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to investigate and apply policies and procedures to make informed decisions.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

Qualifications

Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
