The Role

The TA Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team at RMIT Vietnam and is a key team member in the hiring process. More specifically this position will provide operational support the Talent Acquisition Team in the coordination of recruitment activity across both academic and professional portfolios.
Recruiting coordinator responsibilities entail everything from posting open positions to job boards, handling last-minute scheduling changes, conducting background and reference checks, dealing with recruitment related queries from both internal and external stakeholders, conducting cost allocation and smoothing over any other speed bumps in the hiring process. The role of the Coordinator starts when candidates respond to a job opening and ends when the organization fills the position in question. In summary the TA Coordinator will work closely with recruiters and outsourcing agencies to ensure the hiring process runs smoothly.
From time to time and where needed the TA Coordinator will also support on matters relating to contingent workers and help the Mobility Advisor with work permit and visa related matters if required.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration (Or related discipline)

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level coordination and administration support in a HR or Recruitment support function.

  • Strong experience in delivering excellent customer service across a wide range of internal and external customers.

  • Experience in using Work Day or other related HR platforms is desirable.

  • Understanding of Vietnam Labour Code and/or Vietnam Immigration Law for foreign employees

  • Experience in a multi-national professional workplace

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese with a wide variety of stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills and ability to set priorities.

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including coordination, liaison, negotiation, and multicultural communication.

  • Ability to work with confidential information.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and work under pressure.

  • Displayed approach to continual improvement and innovative business processes.

  • Superior knowledge and experience in using IT software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
