  • Full Time Total Remuneration $102,685 to $129,221 pa (including salary of $86,771 to $109,194 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Progression beyond Teacher Step 4 will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional TAFE Teacher with industry experience to deliver teaching and learning programs within the School of Business and Law. In this role, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of legal professionals. Your expertise and guidance will equip students with the practical skills and theoretical skills and understanding needed to excel in the legal profession. With demonstrated experience managing and teaching learning programs to classroom, industry, distance, and online students, you will successfully develop students’ skills and knowledge within a range of courses.

Position Requirements

 

Essential:  Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed:

  • 10971NAT Certificate IV in Justice Studies.
  • 10972NAT Diploma of Justice Studies.

 

Essential:  A minimum of at least one of the below listed training and assessment credentials:

  • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
  • TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools;
  • TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;
  • TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or its successor;
  • TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development;
  • TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor.

 

Essential: Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided:

  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
  • Current evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.      
    Note:  Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience will be required at interview.
