TAFE Teacher - Childcare and Education Support

• Fixed Term (until 10.01.2025), Full Time
• School of Education and the Arts
• CQUniversity Rockhampton, Gladstone or Mackay 
• Total Remuneration $102,685 to $129,221 pa (including salary of $86,771 to $109,194 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
• Progression beyond Teacher Step 4, will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced teacher to join the Childcare and Education team in developing and delivering quality learning services to a wide range of students.

Using your extensive industry knowledge, experience in learning and teaching and CQUniversity’s strong industry connections, you will contribute to training the next generation of early childhood educators by creating course content and structure that ensures a highly valuable and solid learning experience for our students.  This role is your chance to make a meaningful impact on your industry from a vocational educational perspective and to become a true leader within your profession.

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education, or equivalent.
• Possession of a Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent vocational qualification) or a relevant higher-level qualification, and/or teaching degree.
• Current industry experience in Early Childhood Education and/or primary/secondary school teaching.
• Demonstrated capacity for best practice in the management of teaching and learning activities including delivery, assessment and evaluation.
