  • Total Remuneration $102,685 to $129,221pa (including salary of $86,771 to $109,194 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Progression beyond Teacher Step 4 will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained.

CQUniversity is seeking two motivated educators the opportunity to deliver quality learning services to students studying a range of VET business courses within the College of Business . You will utilise your experience of outcome focused vocational education and training programs, and benefit from working in a collaborative environment, dedicated to continuous improvement and positive business outcomes. With demonstrated experience managing and teaching learning programs to classroom, industry, distance, and online students, you will successfully develop students’ skills and knowledge within a range of business studies courses.

Position Requirements

 

 

Essential - Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed:

  • BSB50120 Diploma of Business; and/or;
  • BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management; and/or
  • BSB50320 Diploma of Human Resource Management; and/or
  • BSB40320 Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business

Essential - A minimum of at least one of the below listed Training and Assessment credentials

 

  • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
  • TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult LLN Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools;
  • TAE50111 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training;
  • TAE50116 - Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or its successor;
  • TAE50211 - Diploma of Training Design and Development;
  • TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development, or its successor;

 

Essential - Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided:

  • Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
  • Current evidence of professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.      
  • Note:  Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience will be required at interview.
