Job Description
  • Sessional teaching role for an qualified cyber security teacher 
  • Depending on your availability, up to 16 hours per week (evenings) 
  • Located at Footscray Nicholson campus but may involve some remote delivery offering the opportunity for working from home. 
  • Commencing 15th April 2024 until 20 December 2024

About the Role:

This role will provide a TAE qualified cyber security professional with an excellent opportunity to train and assess students who are keen to enter the cyber security industry, and to be a member of a collegiate and high-achieving team.

An example of duties you may perform will include:                                    

  • Training and assessing students of 22603VIC Certificate IV in Cyber Security
  • Mandatory compliance activities including recording attendance and results, managing student engagement, and updating your delivery space on our Learning Management System (VU Collaborate). 

About You:

To secure this position you must hold relevant qualifications in cyber security or a related field as well as at least 2 years recent industry experience in a cyber security or information security role. 

You must also hold TAE40116 or more recent Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and hold or be able to obtain a Victorian Working With Children card.
