The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University.  The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement.  Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Continuing position

Study Overseas is part of the Global Engagement unit and is responsible for administrating Study Overseas programs. Working under general direction, the Study Overseas Support Officer is responsible for providing front facing support and student services for study overseas programs.

The Global Engagement unit supports the PVCI and the University community in achieving the University’s strategic goals, particularly in relation to facilitating the development of strategic alliances and collaborative agreements with international partners, including articulation, exchange and off-shore teaching arrangements, developing international policy, fostering student global mobility and monitoring the welfare, progress, academic achievements and development opportunities for international students.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills.
  • Developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to complete diverse tasks within a pressured environment.
  • Proven interpersonal skills to work constructively as part of a team and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholder at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability in the effective use of Customer Relationship Management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
