Overview

ECU's Student Administration directorate processes admission applications, manages fees and scholarships, provides examination logistics, result administration, develops and maintains academic and examination timetables.

The Role

As a Student Transactions Officer in the Admissions Team, you will be responsible for assessing domestic admission applications, processing applications for credit and recognition of prior learning, data entry, international related admission tasks, contributing towards process improvements and handling complex email and phone enquiries.

Whilst the successful candidate would initially be assigned to Admissions, the role may move to other teams within Student Administration such as Fees and Scholarships or Assessments and Student Records.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a busy, high volume transactional administrative workplace
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-changing work environment with competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and solve problems under pressure
  • A sound level of communication and interpersonal skills, whilst working efficiently and autonomously

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time fixed term position attracts remuneration of $66,813 to $71,161 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
