2 POSITIONS: 1 X ONGOING, FULL TIME, 1 X FIXED TERM (TO JUNE 2023)

Overview

We are seeking 2 highly motivated, customer-focused leaders with experience working in a complex customer-oriented, high volume transaction-processing environment, to lead and develop the Admissions team to achieve high performing results. You will be responsible for ensuring the resolution of complex Student Transaction enquiries, and for creating, developing and improving the service to all key stakeholders involved in these processes. 

The Student Transactions Team is the custodian of content relating to current and future student admissions, assessments, student records, fees and scholarships.  Any changes to processes impacting information are managed by the team and are in accordance with University rules and legislation.  The team is responsible for answering all related Tier 3 enquiries including developing communications content and gaining the appropriate approvals and keeping all student information up-to-date and informing other teams across the University as required. The team maintains relationships with Schools and Service Centres to ensure information is provided accurately, promptly and efficiently.

The successful applicant will possess the following skills, experience and capabilities:

  • Experience in a complex customer-oriented, high-volume transaction processing environment responsible for academic, financial or non-financial type transactions;
  • Experience in using leadership techniques to maximise the effectiveness of team service delivery and develop a highly productive team environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and deliver solutions;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and solve complex problems under pressure;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Benefits & Remuneration

These full-time positions attract remuneration of $90,220 to $101,090 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution. The fixed term position is available until June 2023.
