About the opportunity
We are in a period of exciting change and significant development within our Domestic Recruitment and Access and Sydney Future Student portfolio, as we strive to deliver on our university’s ambitious strategic plan. In light of this development, we are seeking an ambitious Student Recruitment Coordinator to deliver timely and effective services to our clients whilst also ensuring consistent, high quality care to our prospective students.
Utilising your service-oriented approach, you will work under the guidance of the Student Recruitment Manager to implement strategic programs and projects which will support the recruitment of prospective students for the University of Sydney. Demonstrating your engagement and people skills, you will attend events on behalf of the University of Sydney promoting the University and its offerings.
In this varied and fast paced role, your exceptional multi-tasking abilities are essential as you will be involved in the planning and delivery of multiple events and outreach activities.
About you
- knowledge and experience working in the higher education industry, with a particular focus on recruiting high achieving students
- strong experience in supporting and coordinating multiple administration projects across a complex organisation
- knowledge and experience implementing attracting strategies with particular focus on attraction strategies for prospective students
- excellent organisation and time management skills with high attention to detail
- initiative and understanding of stakeholder priority, to ensure a customer and client centric approach
- experience of working well in a small team and contributing to a team platform
- creativity and a solution focus that contributes to continuous service improvements.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
